Be aware that regret is an enemy of success, or you will be regretting day after day. The time spent on regretting could well be used for action. Therefore, do not let action be replaced by

regretting. Once you realize that this is the Way, there will be no time for regretting whatsoever.

(This is a translation of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu’s philosophical sayings about worldly matters originally written in Chinese.)

Below is not an official translation, just for reference.

Many people in society are discouraged and sigh often (feel exasperated). Actually, it is a very bad phenomenon. It is a hidden enemy of business success, so we must never take it lightly. If you feel a little setback today, you will sigh, worry about nothing, and lose your courage. This matter will be dragged on day after day, or even completely dragged out, and this business will no longer be successful.

Therefore, when we encounter setbacks and want to sigh, we should turn the sigh into strength in time. Instead of sighing, we should act instead, and we must not let the sigh take up the time of our action. After understanding this truth, we will no longer have regrets and troubles. Whenever encountering something, take care of it immediately and transform your sighs into actions. This is the wise way.
