There is nothing more foolish than for one to believe that all one sees is reason and the universe is created from it. Whenever one measures everything from one’s own standards, that person is demonstrating ignorance.

The biggest cause of foolishness in people is when they believe everything within their grasp is true. One measures everything in the world, whether spiritual or material, with their own views and their own state of mind as a measure. If it is in line with their own views, it is right, otherwise, it is universally dismissed as wrong.

The reason for this is mainly due to the failure to develop wisdom in one's own state of mind, the failure to seek the truth, and only see problems from a one-sided view. If you take what you know bit by bit, but summarize it as a whole, this will put you in a state of ignorance. Therefore, after we understand this truth, anyone who takes his own views as the yardstick to measure all objects or living beings and thinks his views as the absolute truth is actually a fool without knowledge.
