A person with a great deal of talent but little morality achieves nothing. He tends to demonstrate his talent recklessly, even at the expense of hurting others, and thus isolates himself and loses support and help from others. Talent alone without support and help is a sheer waste.

(This is a translation of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu’s philosophical sayings about worldly matters originally written in Chinese.)

Below is not an official translation, just for reference

Knowledge alone, without noble character and morals, will never lead to success in anything. This is because individuals with low moral standards often flaunt their talents and will use their knowledge at all costs to harm others. As a result, those who are harmed will be reluctant to associate with you. It’s not a major concern if just one person doesn’t want to engage with you, but such behavior can lead to many, even everyone, distancing themselves from you. Over time, no matter how talented you are, your skills will become useless because no one will support you. A solitary individual cannot accomplish anything, just as the ancients said, "A single tree cannot become a forest, and a single thread cannot make a line." This is the essence of the matter.
