Nick Best, strongman competitor and one of the men on the show "The Strongest Man in History" talks about being on the show and in his opinion who is the strongest man ever. WWE superstar Bill Goldberg stops by to say hello.

[Interviewer]

I got thirlled, but first of all we have to give a plug to your show. I mean, I was telling you I love your show, man, on the History Channel. Where can folks watch it and then what is the hardest challenge you've had on that show?

[Nick Best]

Well, it's on the History Channel which you can get, or you can get it on Amazon Prime; either one you can watch it from. Um, it's called The Strongest Man in History. Uh, the hardest challenge I think for me was the 2790 pound hip lift. That was definitely the hardest challenge. The Viking log... the Orm Storolfsson log that was 1450 pounds was a close second, because that was always really difficult to pick up as well.

[Interviewer]

They always talked about your age in these videos. How do you keep motivated at your age because I would assume - and I'm obviously not a guy of your strength - you're not in your physical prime supposedly at your age so how do you keep motivated and keep able to do the things you do at your age?

[Nick Best]

I just have personal goals that I want to do and I'm not satisfied 'til I get there and as long as my body stays healthy and keeps going, I'm gonna keep going. Now, I do do a lot of rehab, I take care of myself, I watch what I eat, I get a lot of sleep... A lot of people aren't willing to commit to the discipline that it takes to do that and that's their problem. That's why they can't do it. So when you look at the sportscaster saying, "Well Tom Brady should retire because he's this age" and whatever else, that's hogwash. You know, you don't have to retire; that man lives to play football and everything in his life is set up that way. And everything in my life is set up to do this. That's why I'm still able to do it.

[Interviewer]

It always seems weird how I'll watch and I'll say, "Well how do you win one event and then get fourth place in another?!" You know, it seems like you win one, you should win them all. How frustrating is that when you know, "I just beat this guy in the last one... now I can't hang with them at all in this event?"

[Nick Best]

It's frustrating, but everybody has their strengths weaknesses and they're all different with the four of us... Robert! You!

[Bill Goldberg]

Dude... how's Robert?

[Nick Best]

Robert is great! Robert is great.

[Bill Goldberg]

He's fxxx awesome.

[Nick Best]

Yeah, he's awesome.

[Bill Goldberg]

I hope you're having as much fun as I know he and I have together I just want to come and say hello. You guys are doing a great job.

[Nick Best]

That's awesome!

[Bill Goldberg]

I love it, man. If the History Channel was smart, they'd promote my show so that we'd all be in the family because we'd be the biggest, baddest family in the frickin' television world.

[Nick Best]

We will crush people.

[Bill Goldberg]

Yes we will, but you guys are doing a great job. I just wanted to tell you. Congratulations, keep it up.

[Nick Best]

You just made my whole day!

[Bill Goldberg]

STOP.

[Interviewer]

You guys know each other?

[Nick Best]

Nope. First time I've met him.

[Interviewer]

Oh cool! See you got a lot of people seeing you from the show. Alright last thing I got and I'll let you go. No one's watching... Rank you guys in order, strongest to the least.

[Nick Best]

Oh... I'm not crazy, I'm not doing that.

[Interviewer]

You're not gonna throw Brian Shaw under the bus?

[Nick Best]

Well, in my personal opinion, which don't mean much, I think Brian Shaw is probably the strongest person in history as far as Strongman because he is the most well-rounded of all of them, and there's reasons I believe that way and some of its political so I'm not gonna get into that but he is probably the most dedicated Strongman you'll ever see.

[Interviewer]

Last thing I got for you. So Brian - a huge guy, height's massive - how do you guys deal with, like, he's got this advantage. Then Eddie Hall's got one, being shorter, it's different. So how do you guys kind of deal with the different sizes that you guys have?

[Nick Best]

Well, I mean, like I said, we all have our strengths and weaknesses. So Brian will have an advantage on some of the events where tall people have an advantage. Eddie's got huge advantages on the deadlift. Matter of fact, he's got the biggest deadlift of all time so he's got a huge advantage there. So it's just kind of whatever the event is they throw at us on who will have the biggest advantage, and sometimes the old man gets an advantage.

[Interviewer]

Very last question: What was your favorite place that you guys have gone to?

[Nick Best]

The favorite place that we've been? Scotland, hands down. That place was amazing. I love Scotland.

[Interviewer]

Best of luck. I said I enjoyed the show and I'm not even a World's Strongest Man kind of guy, but it's a great show, so if people haven't seen it be sure to check on the History Channel. Thanks so much.

[Nick Best]

Cool, thank you!
