Oriental Daily: Who is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III ?

Speaking of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, some people say he is a very outstanding person, but some people think he is a very magical person. He is hidden from the world, but not like a hermit. Anyway, he is not quite the same as the worldly people. His selflessness and wide-ranging knowledge are not even in the same zone as ordinary people. His social status is by no means reached by some famous Buddhist figures. Today I am fortunate to see the truth of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. He has never been like a hermit sitting in the dark, but he is even like Shakyamuni Buddha: prestigious, helps all living beings, and is open and transparent. The reputation of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has spread all over the world like everyone wishes. Therefore, I will share a few examples, and you can see how great He is.

In 1987, the Chinese Painting Research Association of the China Education, Science and Culture Center was established. Young H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III served as the chairman. For this, People’s Daily, Wenweipo, Hubei Daily and other media groups reported. Zhangshu, Yuan Xiaoyuan, Qian Juntao, Xie Zhiliu and other national celebrities served as Honorary Presidents, with Luo Zhanglong and Zhang Kejia as consultants.

Twenty-six years ago, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was conferred the only "Distinguished International Master" by experts and scholars from 48 countries at the World Poet Culture Conference. The certificate was signed by the President of the International Olympic Committee, Juan Antonio Samaranch. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was included in the "Who's Who famous people in the Chinese Yearbook” at that time.

In 1995, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III visited Taiwan and received the most solemn reception in the history of the world. More than 20,000 people came to the airport to meet him. Flowers are like ocean waves. There were more than 1,700 vehicles to welcome Buddha, and more than 90 police motorcycles cleared the way. Buddha stayed in Taipei for seven days and was elected by the chiefs of the thirteen Aboriginal Gaoshan tribes of Taiwan as the top chief of the entire tribes. What a stunning and inspiring position this is!

Five years later, Buddha settled in the United States and won numerous awards, such as the Presidential Gold Medal Award, the World Peace Award, the Presidential Patriotic Award, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Award for International Service and Leadership, and so on. In 2011, US capital Washington, DC proclaimed January 19 as His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III Day. On December 12, 2012, the U.S. Senate Resolution No. 614 determined that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III had made great contributions to mankind. In 2000, two of his paintings, "Majesty" and "Venerable Da Li Wan," were auctioned for more than US$2.125 million and more than US$2.207 million, respectively. They became the highest bid works of famous Asian artists at that time. In 2008, his painting of Guanyin Bodhisattva was sold for 330,000 US dollars per square foot. If the large painting was 8 ft. x 8 ft., it was worth tens of millions of US dollars.

In 2010, his painting was appraised from more than US$ 200 thousand per square foot to more than US$600 thousand per square foot by a licensed and certified art appraiser, who is an expert in taxation and estate settlement in probate court. At that time, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s large painting was worth more than US $20 million. Each of his limited-edition copies (not the original ones) can be sold for three to four hundred thousand US dollars. In March 2015, his 4 ft. x 4 ft. ink lotus painting, "An Utter Chaos Strewn with Broken Strokes," won the championship during the New York spring auction and sold for more than RMB$100 million(CNY). In the second year, a painting "Loquat" sold for $10.5 million. In May 2018, the United States raised its national flag at the Capitol building to celebrate H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Birthday in Washington. At the same time, President Trump and the First Lady congratulated Him on His birthday. The United States Postal Service issued the first day postcard of the Congress raising the flag to celebrate His birthday. In 2014, the H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Cultural and Art Museum was established in Los Angeles. On the opening day, seven fighter jets that had participated in the Second World War flew over the art museum to spray colorful smoke, congratulating the opening. So far, many countries have been using the portrait of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as the official postage stamp of the country. China Educational Channels shot the feature film of Him as the Buddha formally, " Discovering the Root of Buddhism, Propagating True Buddha Dharma."

Therefore, the world should know that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is not a divine hermit in the cliff of a dark cave. He is the only supreme Buddha legally certified on the earth; His state of holy realization and moral fiber are unparalleled. He is like Shakyamuni Buddha, a tremendously great holy guru, born in the world of all beings, openly confronting all beings, enlightening and saving all beings. The book imparted by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is titled, "Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra." The book’s content is righteous, supreme, pure, complete and perfect. There has never been anyone similar to Him, and He will enlighten the people of the future! He is the only Buddha who has made a lifelong vow not to accept any support from others, and He only obligates the benefit of sentient beings, propagates Buddhas’ teachings and promotes good deeds. He has done it for decades, without any falsehood. From ancient times to the present, Buddhist leaders have never exhibited such selflessness and holiness like Him.

In 2019, the World Peace Prize Awarding Council conferred the title of Pope of Buddhism to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Faced with the world's pinnacle honor and status, he refused to accept it. The World Buddhism Association Headquarters repeatedly pleaded, but without a result. In desperation, he had to come forward and accept the title on behalf. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III said solemnly: "I'm just a practitioner. What do you say about the Pope of Buddhism in the world? There are Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Vajra, and Arahats in the history of Buddhism, as well as Venerables, Dharma Kings, Geshes, Khenpo, and Abbots. I have never seen the Pope of Buddhism before. Even if you name me the Pope of Buddhism today, so what? The word 'pope' may be invaluable to others, but to me, a shameful pedestrian, it is a joke! I'm just a man to serve all beings, and I want to do some practical things that are beneficial to all beings. Although my abilities are very limited, isn't it always okay to do a little bit of kindness? The World Buddhism Association Headquarters received the Pope’s scepter on my behalf, but I did not entrust them to do so. This is the headquarters’ business, and I have no right to interfere. I am still me. I saw Shakyamuni Buddha sitting on the top of the scepter at the headquarters. So at that time, I lifted the scepter above my head to honor Shakyamuni Buddha, who is the leader of Buddhism. As usual, I will always be ashamed."

The words and deeds of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III reflect the unparalleled consciousness and realm of the true Buddha. In fact, at any time, no matter who admires him, he doesn’t care about them. No matter who slanders him, he doesn't care. All his wishes and actions are for the benefit of the liberation of all living beings. What he holds is the true and great dharma, not divided by sects! He taught Hou Yushan and Lin Liu Huixiu to travel to the Western Paradise Pureland (Sukhavati). After seeing Amitabha Buddha in the Pureland, they returned to the earth, and after several days, they passed away according to Buddha's prediction. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III invited Amitabha to teach Zhao Yusheng dharma in person. The old holy monk Yin-Hai practiced His dharma, so his appearance looked much younger(rejuvenation) after he passed away. Ludongzan Shangzun practiced H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s dharma to be able to end his life and death. He wrote a goodbye letter to show the evidence he was leaving at the moment he passed away. There are many disciples of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III who are able to go to Pureland (Sukhavati), whose bodies will not be decayed and who will attain the rainbow body state. He has become the Pope of Buddhism in the world, which is the true character of the Buddha.

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III can "Lift the Pestle onto the Platform," surpassing His base weight standard by 59 levels. There are more than 7.7 billion people on this earth, but there is no one who can do it! Jin Yanping and Xu Lida were at the scene, and they publicly offered a prize of 20 million U.S. dollars in the newspaper, declaring that if anyone in the world can break the record by surpassing 59 levels, they would earn the money. But, up to this point, no one has been able to win the prize. Some people think that lifting a 434.8-pound Holy Vajra Pestle in the air for 13 seconds is ordinary. World Hercules lifted 1,200 pounds with both hands, but this is a false perception without practice. According to this statement, in May 2004, 20 people could not lift the 4,260-pound lotus pond for bathing Shakyamuni Buddha together, but H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III could lift it by using his own hands. So compared to it, wasn’t the 1,200 pounds too light?

Another strongman, Lu Xiao, participated in the Hercules competition in Kuala Lumpur and won the first strongman competition in Asia. He was the champion of the Chinese tug-of-war competition. In the 2014 Liaoning Spring Festival Gala, he pulled a 184-ton train 20 meters away. Such a strong man as Lu Xiao, could only lift a 208-pound Pestle onto the Platform by using a single hand. It is conceivable that Lifting the Pestle onto the Platform is powerful.

Lifting the Pestle onto the Platform, surpassing his base weight standard by 59 levels, is the most tangible scientific proof that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has a different body structure than any regular human being. Even though it can be said that the sum of the eminent monks and virtues of the entire Buddhist world from ancient times to the present can authenticate H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, it is not as good of a measure as Him Lifting the Pestle onto the Platform to prove His physical strength. Because if you are a Bodhisattva, you should have the body structure of a Bodhisattva, and if you are a Buddha, you should have the form and structure of the Buddha. Is it true that real Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have the same constitution as an ordinary human? If your body structure is the same as ordinary people, aren’t you still ordinary? Those who don’t surpass his base weight standard by 59 levels but call themselves Buddhas are liars! If they cannot do over 50 levels or more, they are not Equal Enlightenment Bodhisattvas and Marvelous Enlightenment Bodhisattvas in mind and physiology! This is the tough, true, and essential proof of scientific verification.

Therefore, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is not a mysterious man hidden outside the world. He holds the true Buddhist Dharma with the perfect wisdom of the Five Vidyas, the holy Buddha’s state of supreme enlightenment, and the status of mighty virtue. The true quality of the Buddha is like a mountain. He saves all living beings in this world in public around people; many sentient beings have taken refuge in Him and learned the true Dharma to end the cycle of life and death. Their bodies and minds are washed so that they can enter a state of holiness. Kaichu Rinpoche followed Him as a disciple for 21 years, and he received H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s dharma and his body was strengthened and became holy. He learned the teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III; he was reborn and he cultivated himself. After he practiced his dharma, his belly quickly rose to a high temperature of 92 degrees Celsius as indicated by a high-tech infrared thermal sensor. On May 27, 2020, Kaichu Jiaozun, who weighed 188 pounds and was 88 years old, lifted the Pestle onto the platform at the Holy Miracles Temple. He reached the 20th level, five times that of the 36-year-old and 350-pound Asian No. 1, which truly showed that "the spiritual constitution surpasses the mortal constitution!" The sacred power of Kaichu is reborn from the practice of true Buddhist dharma. It is never attainable for any Rinpoche or monastics who don’t have true dharma. Kaichu Jiaozun is just a middle-level holy virtuous person under H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. From this we can see how unpredictable the accomplishments of the great holy virtues of His disciples are!

Even more shocking, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III turned his 70 to 80-year-old man appearance into a young man within ten minutes. Even if this is not uncommon, after all, there are medical cosmetology methods nowadays. Let’s put that aside for now. According to the following three items, we can say He is 100% the Buddha! First, He sculpted real mist into His work, and the strong wind could not blow it away! The work is a long-term exhibition now in the International Art Museum of America publicly. The second is that there are more than 7.7 billion people on the earth, but no one can break the world record of over 59 levels of "lifting the Pestle onto the Platform!" Third, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III once publicly issued a public vow (it is recorded in many Dharma tapes of His public address more than 20 years ago), saying: I will give everyone five years, no matter who asks any questions. If there came a time where there was a question He couldn't answer, he would have had to leave the dharma stage and would no longer be qualified to address anyone anymore! Apart from the real Buddha, who can possess such supreme wisdom? Each of these items really exists in the objective reality. They are too shocking and incomprehensible to make people understand. There is only one reason: He is the Buddha! There is nothing wrong with this.
